Chief’s Message
I would like to welcome you to the Meridian Fire Department. As the third largest city in the state of Idaho and positioned in the heart of the Treasure Valley, we take great pride in providing exemplary service not only to our citizens and visitors, but to our neighboring communities as well.

This is demonstrated daily through a public service mentality that is the cornerstone of our success. This mentality could not exist without the full involvement of the entire team and reinforced through our commitment to the fire service Labor-Management initiative. This relationship with IAFF Local 4627, our Elected Officials, and the public has helped propel our department to higher standards and continued success. While we honor many traditions within the fire service, we also challenge ourselves to find better efficiencies and effective ways to get the job done.
