MISSION

The Department is the general business management arm of City government, providing specific financial and accounting services for elected officials, City employees, and the citizens of Meridian. Basic services include budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, utility billing, monitoring state and city rules and regulations, and maintenance of sound internal controls over financial and accounting systems, purchasing, and capital assets.
