Question:
Do I need a license to be a massage therapist?

Answer:
Yes. For an application, click License Applications for Massage Therapist and/or Establishment. If you have any other questions, please call City Clerks Office at 208-888-4433 for more information.

Question:
Do I need a business license to operate a business in the City of Meridian?

Answer:
Possibly. You may need a permit to operate certain kinds of businesses within the City limits. Please click License Applications for applications which might apply. If the applications available for download are not applicable, please call our office for further direction.

Question:
Can I sell items or services door-to-door?

Answer:
Yes. In order to go door-to-door to sell items or services, you need a Mobile Sales Unit Permit. This permit also applies if you are going to simply take orders for the products or services to be delivered at a later date. This application is available for download by clicking License Applications. There are additional fees for these applications, so please contact the City Clerk Office for further direction.

Where may I get a copy of the minutes of the last City meeting?

Answer: 
Depending on which meeting you are looking for, you can click City Council Meetings, Planning & Zoning Meetings or Other Meetings for transcribed meeting minutes available for download. If the desired meeting minutes are not available, please contact the City Clerk Office for more information or to review the document in person.

Question:
I have a beer, wine or liquor license and I would like to cater a party, grand opening or other event. What do I need to do, and is there a deadline to get a request in to the City?

Answer:
You will need to apply for a liquor catering permit with a five-day notice and you need to have a current beer, wine and/or liquor license.  Click on License Applications and download the application Idaho Liquor Catering Permit.  Applications are also available at City Hall in Meridian or call 888-4433 for more information.

Question:
When do I need to renew my Meridian City Beer, Wine or Liquor Licenses?

Answer:
Our license year is May 1 through April 30th. You can download an application on our website, just click License Applications.  The completed applications are then put on the City Council agenda in early April for approval and issuance of licenses.
